At
Consolidated Financial Investments, we offer discount
brokerage services for a wide range of customers. We
offer various types of accounts including Individual,
Joint, Retirement, Corporate, Investments Clubs, Trust,
Estates, Transfer On Death (TOD) and Money Market Fund.
Our Money Market Fund is very
competitive and is available to all accounts with no
initial minimum deposit. Currently our firm uses Dreyfus
Cash Management Participant Shares as its primary Money
Market Fund. This high quality Money Market Fund helps
satisfy the need of those seeking a high level of
current income consistent with the preservation of
principal, daily liquidity and convenience. We also have
made available three alternative Money Market Funds:
Dreyfus Government Cash Management Participant Shares,
Dreyfus Municipal Cash Management Plus Participant
Shares and Dreyfus Tax Exempt Cash Management
Participant Shares. These last two funds seek to provide
as high a level of current income exempt from federal,
and in some cases state and local personal income taxes
as is consistent with the preservation of capital and
the maintenance of liquidity (Capital gains, if any, are
fully taxable. Portions of these funds' income may be
subject to the Federal Alternative Minimum Tax. Income
from state specific funds may be subject to state and
local taxes for non-state residents).
Prospectuses are available for all of these funds upon
request. The prospectus will explain the possible risks
and detail the expenses charged by the fund. The
prospectus should be read before making any final
investment decision.
A further benefit of the Money
Market Fund is that customers can have free unlimited
check writing privileges with no minimum per check. An
investment in the Money Market Fund is not insured or
guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation
(FDIC) or any other government agency. Although the
Money Market Fund seeks to preserve the value of your
investment at $1.00 per share, it is possible to lose
money by investing in the fund.
Our
customers are able to purchase or sell any stock listed
on an exchange or over the counter, bonds (i.e.
government, agency, corporate or municipal), mutual
funds and options.
Our
company provides fast and fair executions. Market orders
are filled and confirmed while you are on the phone.
LIMIT, GOOD -TILL-CANCELED (GTC) or STOP orders are
placed at no additional charge. We seek out the most
competitive bids and offers when we represent you in the
market place.
Printed trade confirmations will be mailed the next
business day and you will receive a statement every
month if you have activity in your account. Quarterly
statements will be sent for accounts with positions but
no activity or only Money Market Fund dividends.
We
provide free real-time quotes and late breaking news
over the phone. You will always have the ability to
speak to a person every time you call.
CFII is also highly
experienced in utilizing options as a way to potentially
reduce risk and increase the rate of return on your
portfolio. Options do involve risk and are not suitable
for all investors. Therefore, advice from a securities
professional is strongly advised. Investors should also
be aware of the special risks associated with index
options because they are cash-settled. Prior to buying
or selling an option, a person must receive a copy of
Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options.
Copies of this document are available from CFII, The
Options Clearing Corporation (OCC), from any exchange on
which options are traded or by clicking on
http://www.888options.com.
The documents available discuss exchange-traded options
issued by The Options Clearing Corporation and are
intended for educational purposes. No statement in the
documents should be construed as a recommendation to buy
or sell a security or to provide investment advice.
